Perjantaina 19.12.2008 järjestettiin Kreikan suurlähetystöllä solidaarisuusmielenosoitus Kreikan viime viikkoisiin mellakoihin liittyen.
Puolisen tuntia suurlähetystöllä oltuaan lähti kulkue kiertämään kaupunkia, päätyen lopulta rautatieasemalle. Matkan varrella huudeltiin iskulauseita, heitettiin maalipommeja, poltettiin soihtua sekä otettiinpa yksi mielenosoittaja väliaikasesti kiinnikin..

On the 19th of December a solidarity demonstration was held at the embassy of Greece, in Helsinki, it supported the riots which have been going on in the Greece during the past two weeks.
After half an hour, people left the embassy and marched through the city to the railway station. While marching, some shout-phrases were shouted, paintbombs thrown, flares burned, and even one protester was captured (only temporarily)..
